First Title

“Landscapes” is a two day printmaking workshop to be presented at Oliewenhuis Art Museum, Bloemfontein on 5 and 6 October 2012.

The workshop will focus mainly on linoleum as medium, where the workshop participant will use line, texture and mark making to complete his/her own linoleum landscape print. The workshop will be presented by Mr Ben Botma, Senior Lecturer and Head of Department and Programme Director: Fine Arts at the University of the Free State. The workshop is suitable for any individual interested in printmaking as art form. Artists, art appreciators, art students and school learners older than 16 years of age, are more than welcome to participate. Attendance is free of charge, and all materials are included. Participants need only bring along an A4 size photo or good quality reference of a landscape with textures.
