First Title

Winners of The Puma Creative Network dOCUMENTA 13 and Art Basel lottery were announced at midnight yesterday. The winner from the Africa region is Creative Africa Network member X.

Through this competition, Puma is awarding tickets to one member from each of its international networks to attend dOCUMENTA 13 and Art Basel in June this year. The winners were selected through a lottery system, and entries closed yesterday, 15 May 2012.The prize trip lasts six days from 14 to 20 June 2012, and includes return transport from the winners’ home towns, four nights’ accommodation in Basel, Switzerland and three nights accommodation in Kassel, Germany. dOCUMENTA (13) is a quintennial art event lasting 100 days, in Kassel, Germany with satellite events taking place around the world. This year’s highly anticipated dOCUMENTA (13) is curated by Carolyn Christov Bakargiev, and is projected to be one of the most innovative and comprehensive art events in contemporary art history. Art Basel is the one of the world’s foremost commercial art fairs, and takes place in Basel, Switzerland each year. Art Basel is an annual hub for collectors, dealers and galleries, and in addition to this, has a strong visitors and education program to create an edifying experience for casual and non-buying visitors. To be eligible to enter the competition, entrants were required to be a member of the Puma Creative Africa Network, or another Puma Creative Network.
