BLACK IS BLUE by Oupa Sibeko is a durational performance artwork exhibited at Nel Gallery, Cape Town, South Africa, 3rd – 20th June. Sibeko is also currently participating in the Artist-in-Residence programme at ART AFRICA. Oupa Sibeko is an interdisciplinary artist based in Johannesburg, South Africa. His work moves between theatrical, gallery, scholarly and other public contexts, overtly dealing with matter and politics of the body as a site of contested works.
