25 years ago in February 1988 the first Dance Umbrella platform was presented.
How much we have danced since then! This year the Dance Forum in partnership with the Arts Alive International Festival offers you the opportunity to once again enjoy new and commissioned works from both local and international choreographers during the Dance Umbrella Festival 2013. The Dance Umbrella this year includes five international companies and fifteen new works from South African choreographers, plus the Stepping Stones programme featuring 30 choreographers.
