Highlights from THAT ART FAIR 2016

Held at the Palms Lifestyle and Decor Centre in Woodstock, Cape Town, the second edition of THAT ART FAIR opened on the 17 February 2016 with a bang.

The fair showcased a variety of work from 22 countries, functioning as a platform for both emerging and established artists to showcase their work to new audiences.

The invited artist this year was Emo de Medeiros (Benin/France). Featured artists included Malala Andrialavidrazana (Madagascar/France), Jacques Coetzer and Laura Windvogel (aka Lady $kollie).

Included in this year’s programme were THAT FILM FOCUS, in partnership with shnit International Short Film Festival, Videobrasil and Sunshine Cinema, as well as THAT GRAFFITI workshop, in partnership with the Salesian Institute Youth Projects and Boeta Phyf.

THAT ART PARTY featured musicians Felix Leband, Spoek Mathambo, Batuk, John Wizards,Original Swimming Party, DJ Invisible and the SKATTIE Djs.
