First Title

The highly anticipated Open Book Festival  returns in September, and the confirmed list of authors is already reason enough to book the weekend of 7 – 11 September to be at the Fugard Theatre and the Book Lounge in Cape Town.

Authors featured on the 2013 programme include Teju Cole, NoViolet Bulawayo , Ian Rankin, Lauren Beukes , Zapiro , Margie Orford, Mike Nicol, Anton Kannemeyer, Deon Meyer , Patrick de Witt, Adam Habib, Mongane Wally Serote, Andre Brink, Sindiwe Magona, Pumla Gqoza, Niq Mhlongo, Zakes Mda, and many more. For teens, we will be joined by international superstar, Michael Grant, while the little ones will be delighted by award-winning author and illustrator, Polly Dunbar.
