The long-awaited Révélations Biennial is coming back to celebrate the creative vitality of Fine Crafts at the Grand Palais Éphémère

For 4 days, the Grand Palais Éphémère will host the 5th edition of Révélations, the international fine craft and contemporary creation biennial organised by Ateliers d’Art de France, gathering over 300 exhibitors from all four corners of the world; creators, fine craft professionals and artwork manufactures, galleries, designers, foundations, schools… to unveil unique and bold pieces with contemporary lines, made especially for the occasion.

Visitors – art lovers, collectors, architects, decorators and artistic directors – will be thrilled to see Africa as the continent of honour for this edition. As the cradle of a dynamic and diversified creation, Africa will be the central theme running through the entire biennial– with its presence on the international exhibition Le Banquet, on individual stands or as part of the Hors les Murs programme, especially at EMPREINTES and the “Exceptions d’Afrique” exhibition-sale. Visitors are invited to travel and discover the various identities and cultural expressions from Africa: Moroccan art copper sheet craft, revisited Senegalese traditional weaving, Togolese fine crafts, South African beaded embroideries and hitherto unseen Zambian pieces. In 2022, visitors will rediscover the thrilling international exhibition Le Banquet, true backbone of the biennial, revealing this year the most spectacular pieces from10 countries of all four corners of the world. New creative territories such as Catalonia, Cyprus, French Polynesia, Morocco, Nigeria, Slovakia, the United Arab Emirates andZambia will reveal the most spectacular pieces of their contemporary fine craft sector, alongside South Korea and Luxembourg, regular exhibiting countries at Révélations

At the Grand Palais Éphémère, Ateliers d’Art de France renews its confidence in the scenographer Adrien Gardère (museographer of the Louvre-Lens and designer of the Swedish Pavilion at Dubai 2020 World’s Fair).
