The Michaelis School of Fine Art would like to invite you to a Nancy Dantas lunchtime lecture, titled: ‘Mr Min Meets Marcel’
Wednesday, 20 March 2013
Commerce Lecture Theatre
37 Orange St, Gardens, Cape Town
In her talk, Dantas will address the image and material existence of dust as a signifier, index and trope within the archive, history and art. Her discussion will seek to provide insights into our attraction to this powdery substrate of time and will evoke an array of conversing figures.
